Seeking a Yoga Teacher/Massage Therapist for work for trade opportunity at a Retreat Centre in Playa Troncones, Mexico
New & exciting opportunity to join the team at Present Moment Retreat, a Boutique Hotel in the beautiful surf region outside of Ixtapa/Zihuatenajo, Mexico. We are seeking a part-time qualified Yoga Teacher to provide professional and engaging asana classes and meditation to our clients.
POSITION: Yoga Teacher/Massage Therapist
We are looking for an experienced, kind-hearted, responsible person to:
- Lead 5-7 yoga classes per week
- Provide personalized treatments to our guests 3-4 days per week, 3-4 hours per day
- Work with the Wellness Manager to ensure the guests receive award-winning standards of service
- Promote all amenities, conveniences, and programs offered at Present Moment
- Keep the treatment rooms and yoga platform clean and well-stocked
- Respond to any questions, needs, and desires of guests, and follow up to ensure their requests have been to their satisfaction
An ideal applicant must have strong interpersonal and teaching skills. As a member of the Wellness Team, you must be flexible with daily tasks, willing to lend a hand at any time, and be confident and professional with guests of the center. Provide personalized service to our guests, recommending treatments to them with a high degree of professionalism.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven work experience as a Yoga TeacherMinimum 200 hour YTT and 2 years teaching experience
- Proven work experience as a Massage Therapist
- Hands-on experience in massage techniques and body therapies
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, as well as basic Spanish (preferred)
- Communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude
- Must have solid professional references
- Hospitality experience
